About

Portrait Photographer-based in Calgary, Alberta will capture your moments of laughter and joy to make every photo unforgettable

Photography, for me, is like having a diary, but instead of written words, the pictures display emotions and words. Photography is like having a secret diary; only you know the feeling and memories in that particular picture. Photography, for me, is honoring the moment and the people we cherish by capturing moments of laughter and joy. As a photographer, my job is to know when to capture the magical moments to create a masterpiece. Photography, for me, is documenting the genuine beauty of the people we love with no filters. I don’t believe in filters and photoshop because they hide natural beauty. As a photographer, I would love to show the wrinkles of an older person because it resembles wisdom and time. Photography, in my belief, should show the appreciation of people’s true identities. I’m passionate about art, and photography, for me, is like poetry with no words.

My story about how my passion grew about photography is that I wanted, as a mom, to document my kid’s first step, first smile, first bubble bath,  first cake smash, and the first day of school, and then my love for photography grew more significant. I started taking pictures for my friend’s graduations, engagements, birthday parties, and weddings. The more I took pictures, the more I fell in love with portrait shots. The emotion their faces held is what lured me into capturing the moment.
